Double skin storage tanks for Off-Road Diesel EUROLENTZ® Confort GNR XT with capacity of 1000, 1500 and 2000 litres from SOTRALENTZ Habitat with retention tank and self-priming electric pump for distribution complying with the new regulation dated 31 December 2010.
SOTRALENTZ Habitat fuel storage tanks
Developed by our Design Office, it was specially designed for the storage of Off-Road Diesel, hydrocarbons and lubricants. Due to its High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) integrated retention tank, this tank is distinguished by its high storage performance:
- Stability: no risk of corrosion
- Resistance: not susceptible to shocks
- Tightness: single-piece fabrication by extrusion-blowmoulding
- Ease of use: integration of all the components required for the operation, such as floor fastening, distribution pump, gauge, etc.
- Ease of handling: light in weight and compact during installation
A self-priming distribution pump is directly mounted on the tank, for storing Off-Road Diesel. Fitted with a mechanical counter, this pump distributes the stored Off-Road Diesel in full safety and is easy to manage!
Regulation dated 31 December 2010
On 1st May 2011, the Off-Road Diesel shall finally replace domestic fuel as fuel for off-road mobile machines. The Decree dated 10 December 2010, published in the Official Gazette dated 31 December 2010, provides the list of vehicles affected by this new regulation (see opposite). The agricultural and forest tractors shall be affected by this law only from 1st November 2011. On this date, the use of domestic fuel shall only be restricted to heating and supplying to some engines not covered by the decree, such as the fixed motors of electricity generating units.
The Off-Road Diesel, also called EN590 Fuel, Traction Fuel, Red Fuel, complies with the new environmental requirements. This fuel significantly reduces the sulphuric polluting emissions (100 times lower than the present fuel).
